Yellowstone is a modern-day Western that follows the Dutton dynasty, led by John (played by Kevin Costner). He is a set-in-his-ways, 4th-generation Montana rancher who owns the largest one in the state, if not the country, and is constantly under siege by poachers, resort developers, the government, neighboring tribes, and his surviving children who are also attacking each other.
Every show has a scene-stealer, and this one’s is his daughter. Beth Dutton (played by Kelly Riley) is a human volcano. Filter-less. Fearless. Reckless. Ruthless. The phrase “zero effs given” was invented for her. Tough as nails on the outside AND inside, except when it comes to her father or her childhood sweetheart, Rip Wheeler (played by Cole Hauser).
While the actress may be British, the character is pure Bugatti — all gas, no brakes. She *may* have some anger issues. So she says and does things we’d never ever ever EVER dream of saying or doing. (But may secretly wish we could.)
