The first glimpse behind the gates of the secret lives of housewives began in 2006 in Orange County. Since then, there have been 10 US versions, 14 international (hello, Real Housewives of Melbourne & Dubai), and 19 spinoffs (Vanderpump Rules, Bethenny Ever After, Don't Be Tardy, Manzo'd with Children, I Dream of NeNe etc.).
If you can look past the name calling, hair pulling, and table flipping -- and around all the glitz and gloss -- you'll often find actual glimpses of reality, sometimes emotional, sometimes funny, always raw. Each city has its own personality, but they all begin the same -- with a tagline.
